I’m like, “No, it’s going to be so beautiful—trust me! ” You want them to ride the ride with you, and sometimes it’s more difficult and you sacrifice some of the design because of that. I get so emotionally attached to their feedback. It’s like always wanting to be liked—you feel like you’ve done something to disappoint them, and that’s hard. After that, it felt natural to Bishop, who's known for her organic modern design style, to bring elements of the landscape indoors.
